The project “Mediterranea” is a story of lights and shadows, a story of tradition and innovation through the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
When Elisa, a Corsican designer, and Cecilia, an Italian photographer, spoke about their collaboration, the heart of the project was immediately very clear: the focus was on their shared Mediterranean origins, impersonated by a Mediterranean beauty, Rebecca.
The partnership between the photographer and the designer soon involved a team of passionate women, and a beautiful story was born.
Elisa, profoundly connected to her Corsican origins, represents through her silk blouses a world of insular traditions and feminine empowerment, claiming the strength of her culture and identity.
Cecilia, symbolically crossing the Mediterranean Sea in order to embrace Elisa’s vision, represents through her lens the meaning of this feminine alliance. In fact, through the great dynamism between lights and shadows, she shows the strength of the Mediterranean beauty: determined but also delicate, profound and enigmatic.
Therefore, Mediterranea is the fusion of many artistic visions, representing the quintessence of the southern beauty, in a landscape dominated by the Sea, our beloved “Mar Mediterraneo.”
